Vuntut Gwitchin Government Heritage Branch Collection
The VGG Collection includes over 600 oral history interview transcripts and associated audio recordings (on audio cassette, digital files and DAT), 100 video recordings and footage, 4800 historical and contemporary images and maps. The collection is listed on a database using FileMaker Pro. The oral history transcripts are indexed and a Master Index allows the user to search for keywords.
The Collection also includes published and unpublished books, manuscripts, reports and articles relevant to the Vuntut Gwitchin.
Access to the Collection can be obtained by submitting an Access Application to the VGG Heritage Manager. Applications are reviewed by the VGG Heritage Committee and approved projects enter into an agreement pertaining to the use of the material.
